4x4 Off-Road Experience
At the Heritage Motor Centre you can find out exactly why a Land Rover is the best 4x4xfar! Ride as a passenger in a Land Rover Defender and be driven by the Centre's Land Rover trained off road drivers. You will be taken into terrain you would not think a vehicle could survive: And most couldn't!

The ride will last around 12 minutes, where you will experience steep inclines and descents, acute angles and, if the weather allows, deep water. One thing is guaranteed, it will be 12 minutes you will never forget.

The 4x4 Off-Road Experience runs everyday from 11am. Last ride is at 3.30pm. Ages 5 and over.

Museum visitors are offered a discounted rate of:

Our exciting new outdoor karting track is now open!

Experience the thrills and challenges of competing against friends and family on the twists and turns of our purpose built track. It's your chance to see if you've got what it takes to be the next Michael Schumacher and have great fun at the same time.

The Go-karts are open at weekends and school holidays from 11am. Last ride is at 3.30pm.* Ages 8 and over. Minimum height restriction of 1.35m.

Children's Roadway
At the Heritage Motor Centre children are never too young to get behind the wheel. On the Centre's purpose built Roadway children from 3 - 7 years old navigate roundabouts, junctions and traffic lights.

The Roadway is open at weekends and school holidays from 11am. Last ride is at 3.30pm.*

Children of museum visitors are offered a discounted rate of £1.50, while our standard price is £3.00
