All
models are created using the original archive plans and dimensions
creating a master 1/57th scale pattern. Master die moulds and
production master plans are then made to produce a pewter master.
The master model is checked, hand finished and is used to create
the production die moulds. By using centrifugal die casting, more
intricate detail can be incorporated than is possible using metal
die cast moulds. The models are then hand finished, polished and
mounted onto a highly polished wooden base with a nameplate; all
polished bases are 102mm (4") in length unless otherwise
stated.
