OVER THE HILLS Launch film for the new Austin Eight which is shown climbing 25,000 feet in one day up the famous hills of the Lake District. An important film that was shot on the Technicolour "Three Strip" system, this used a very large camera that was in effect three 35mm cameras with three separate film transports, each one recording a primary colour. Apart from being very unwieldy it was also very expensive system to use. (16 minutes)
Duration: 52 minutes approximately
