Facilities at the Centre

In addition to the car collection, the Centre, set in 65 acres of grounds, has activities to appeal to the whole family. Choose from the thrill of the Land Rover 4x4 off-road experience and, at weekends and during the school holidays, the excitement of the Go-Karts, or the more sedate miniature roadway for children aged 3 - 7.

With a licensed Caf and a well stocked Gift Shop, the Heritage Motor Centre offers an entertaining and educational day out for the whole family.

The Archive Reading Room is open to ALL Museum visitors. Visitors can make their own search on the Archive's computer photographic database, which has over 50,000 entries. Prior appointments are necessary to view any original archive material.

The Centre caters for the needs of disabled visitors with parking near to the entrance and lift access to all floors.  Loan wheelchairs are also available (pre-booking recommended).

Toilets are available on all floors with a baby changing unit in the lower ground floor facilities.

However, the Heritage Motor Centre is far more than a visitor attraction, and boasts:
 - A premier Conference facility
 - An award winning Education Department that runs courses throughout the year
 - One of the largest motor industry Archives in the world
 - A unique venue for wedding receptions
 - A centre for car club activities
