AGAINST THE CLOCK (1955) A high speed endurance and reliability run at the Montlhery banked circuit in France for five standard BMC models: an MGA, an Austin Healey, a Riley Pathfinder, an Austin A90 and a Wolseley 6/90. All have to lap at 100 miles per hour for one hour.
WINNING WAYS (1962) A fascinating review of BMC models in various fields of motor sport: from Formula Junior racing at Silverstone to saloon car racing at Oulton Park; from an MG Car Club hill climb in Sussex to the Alpine Rally. There are fascinating behind the scenes sequences of Formula Junior and Formula One cars being prepared at the Cooper works at Surbiton and the works Healeys and Mini Coopers being prepared at the BMC Competitions Department at Abingdon.
SIX HOURS AT SANDOWN (1965) The BMC Mini Cooper works team of Paddy Hopkirk, Timo Makinen, Rauno Aaltonen and John Fitzpatrick go to Australia for the Six Hour Saloon Car Race at Sandown Park, Melbourne. The competition comes from a varied field of Ford Galaxy, Lotus Cortina, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo Peugeot, and even a Morris 1100. Amongst the Lotus Cortina drivers is one Jackie Stewart.
