RALLYE DES ALPES (1954) This event was renowned as one of the toughest of the European classics. The route included most of the challenging mountain roads of France, Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A penalty-free run gained a coveted Coupe des Alpes. The 1954 event was a Triumph success, with a team of new TR2s taking on the Sunbeam Alpines, and the Porsches, winning both the Team Prize and a Coupe des Alpes. (27 minutes)
7TH TULIP RALLY (1954) This film follows the fortunes of a single Standard 10 which won its class from an early Saab and five Triumph TR2s as they chased the Mercedes 300SL, AC Ace and Ford Zephyrs through the mountain roads of the Black Forst and Alsace and round the tracks at Solitude, Nurburgring and Zandvoort. An epic event with 207 starters from nine countries and a complicated handicapping system which attempted to put all the cars on an even footing. (27 minutes)
